Spurn Point Walk July 2009

32 friends and family of the TKU attended the annual day out, This year's event was a walk around Spurn Point.

We started at Kilnsea and walked approx 8 miles which was quite an achievement for the youngsters.

At the head of Spurn Point whilst taking a rest stop, Sensei used this opportunity to teach the the youngsters Pinan nidan on the beach with many walkers amused by our actions.

During the walk many objects of interested were found, fossils large crabs a tope (looks Like a shark) message in a bottle and a scarecrow see photo. Was it a TKU member we left behind 5 years ago the last time we did this walk???

Everyone enjoyed the day although a few complained of aching legs, already we are being asked what next years event will be.

Welcome to the new site...

Welcome to the new Tokui Karate Union site! As this site is still in development, there will be stuff that's more than likely broken or missing. Eventually this site will grow with more resources, training material, history, and galleries. At the moment it already contains a lot of information that may be useful such as dojo rules and grading faq's. Several of these are also available as an offline download.

Please note that for the best optimum viewing experience a fairly recent browser will be required (such as Firefox, IE7, Opera or Safari), with a screen resolution of 1024 × 768. Oh also javascript will also need to be enabled to view some of the UI effects that have been put in (such as the gallery pages etc) as they were intended (but if you don't the site should degrade gracefully). The site has been tested in IE6 & 7, Firefox 2 & 3, Opera 9 and Safari.
